Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Bright Shelter Healing Center, you will:

• Engage in effective communication with physicians and other healthcare professionals to report on patient progress, needs, and concerns, ensuring a holistic approach to patient care.

• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation, including detailed progress notes and treatment records, adhering to department policies and legal standards.

• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop comprehensive treatment plans, including discharge plans, based on thorough psychosocial assessments and evidence-based social work interventions.

• Offer counseling and crisis intervention to patients dealing with emotional and behavioral challenges, utilizing your expertise to assess individual needs and tailor treatment strategies.

• Assist clients in navigating their discharge planning, coordinating care between various service providers to promote successful transitions and access to ongoing mental health resources.

• Provide support and consultation to family members or other support systems to ensure that treatment plans are understood and effectively implemented.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work with a diverse patient population, including children, adolescents, and adults, who are facing various mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral disorders. Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate for this position will possess:

• A Master's degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology, demonstrating a solid foundation in mental health practices.

• Current licensure as an LMFT , LPC , LCSW , or an equivalent credential recognized in Oregon.

• A minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in an outpatient setting, showcasing a commitment to providing quality mental health services.

• Proven capacity to deliver evidence-based treatment modalities, contributing to meaningful patient outcomes and satisfaction.

Preferred Experience\n
