Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments that evaluate the severity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms in clients, utilizing standard diagnostic tools.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to support clients' mental health recovery.

• Regularly monitor and document client progress, adjusting treatment plans based on real-time feedback and clinical observations.

• Work closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure a cohesive approach to client health and wellness.

• Stay informed on the latest advancements and research in the field of mental health, particularly regarding mood disorders, to continuously enhance therapeutic methods.

• Ensure accurate and confidential documentation of all client interactions, adhering to legal and ethical standards in mental health practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in New York State.

• Proficiency in evidence-based treatment modalities for mood disorders, including CBT and DBT.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 52,000 to 100,000, based on qualifications and experience.
