Workers’ Compensation Attorneys (Hybrid) (Direct Hire) Latitude is seeking multiple Workers’ Compensation Attorneys for permanent placement opportunities with a growing and well-established Chicago‑area law firm. Due to continued expansion of the firm’s Workers’ Compensation practice, the firm is seeking to add several attorneys to support an increasing volume of matters and a growing client base. This opportunity is ideal for attorneys who enjoy advocating for injured workers, managing litigation matters from inception through resolution, and working as part of a collaborative legal team. Attorneys with varying levels of experience will be considered, provided they possess strong litigation skills, sound judgment, and a commitment to exceptional client service. Basic Requirements 2+ years of experience practicing workers’ compensation law Experience handling workers’ compensation claims on behalf of claimants, employers, insurers, or third‑party administrators Demonstrated litigation and negotiation experience Ability to independently manage a caseload while maintaining exceptional client service Excellent oral and written communication skills Strong research and analytical abilities Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage a high‑volume caseload Collaborative, positive attitude and professional demeanor Highly motivated with a strong commitment to client service and successful outcomes Spanish fluency is a plus Excellent academic credentials from an ABA‑accredited law school Licensed and in good standing to practice law in Illinois Outstanding professional references Preferred Qualifications Experience appearing before the Illinois Workers’ Compensation Commission Experience conducting depositions, mediations, and settlement negotiations Familiarity with complex medical and vocational issues arising in workers’ compensation claims Experience counseling clients through all phases of workers’ compensation litigation Prior litigation experience in personal injury, insurance defense, employment, or related practice areas Position Details Type of Role: Permanent Placement / Direct Hire Schedule: Full‑Time Location: Hybrid (Chicago Area) Practice Area: Workers’ Compensation Litigation Openings: Multiple Compensation The anticipated compensation range for this position is $100,000 to $175,000+ annually, depending upon experience, qualifications, demonstrated workers’ compensation expertise, language skills, and overall fit for the role.
