Digital Workplace Business Analyst

As a Digital Workplace Business Analyst, you will help shape how employees across Smurfit WestRock use our digital tools in their daily work. Your focus is on improving the adoption and effective use of our Digital Workplace platforms--mainly Microsoft 365 and Copilot.

In this role, you translate business needs into practical solutions, support regions and teams with adoption activities, and ensure that our digital tools are used in a simple, consistent, and effective way. You will work closely with colleagues across IT and the business to understand user challenges, identify opportunities, and help drive our global Digital Workplace adoption strategy forward.

We will support your growth through personal guidance and a development path tailored to your experience--ranging from Microsoft 365 and Copilot skills to training in communication, collaboration, and presentation.

Role Accountabilities

• Provide consultancy and support for Digital Productivity platforms

• Translate business needs into actionable requirements, working closely with regions and teams to identify opportunities to improve how employees use Microsoft 365, Power Platform, and Copilot.

• Create regional awareness and drive adoption by preparing and delivering webinars, maintaining clear user-friendly content, and highlighting opportunities to work more effectively with Digital Productivity tools.

• Develop, lead, and support local ambassador networks, helping colleagues promote best practices and strengthen the digital skills of employees in your region.

• Act as a trusted regional point of contact, building strong relationships with IT Solutions colleagues, business stakeholders, and end users to ensure smooth communication and alignment.

• Deliver training sessions to business users, ensuring they have the necessary knowledge and skills to effectively utilize the Digital Productivity platforms.

• Maintain and create content for our Digital Workplace channels (e.g., productivity centre pages, learning materials, practical tips, translations) and keep resources up to date and easy to understand.

• Support the evaluation of adoption activities, using analytics, usage insights, and stakeholder feedback to measure effectiveness and identify where additional support is needed.

• Stay informed about new capabilities in Microsoft 365, Power Platform, and Copilot, investigate their potential value, and help translate them into simple guidance for users.

• Contribute to the global Digital Productivity adoption strategy, ensuring regional needs and business feedback are reflected in the broader strategy.

• Collaborate closely with the Digital Productivity team and other IT functions to ensure consistent messaging, aligned adoption efforts, and a shared view of priorities.

• Identify improvement opportunities proactively, engaging with stakeholders to understand challenges and propose practical, business-focused solutions.

The role holder will report to the Manager Digital Productivity and works closely with the business stakeholders and the wider Digital Productivity team. Growth into the role will be supported by a personalized training and development plan based on the knowledge and experience of successful candidates. This role will require occasional travel to other SW business locations.
