Production Lead Location: Fort Worth, TX 76140

Pay: $31/hr

Shifts: 2nd Shift 2pm to 10:30pm Monday to Friday (open to weekends)

Job Description:

•Lead pre-shift/post-shift handovers and DUPRO inspector meetings, and schedule production tasks based on production progress and personnel skills to ensure maximum revenue and benefits.

•Perform pre-production job readiness confirmation tasks.

•Responsible for developing multi-skilled workers and creating training plans for employees with insufficient skills.

•Maintain 5S in the production area, ensuring a clean and orderly work environment.

•Monitor the work process of line inspectors to ensure consistency between words, records, and actual tasks.

•Responsible for tracking and handling exceptions related to packaging materials and the materials in work orders, as well as providing responses; Monitor the production progress of work orders and control the completion rate.

•Conduct inspections and confirm the usage of equipment and facilities in the workshop; ensure personnel can proficiently use production equipment.

•Control of the materials in work orders and analysis of material variances

•Accurate entry of work order capacity into the MES system and providing feedback on exceptions.

•Tracking and timely resolution of quality exceptions, as well as handling of dead stock materials.

•Confirmation and Statistics of Daily Production Reports.

•Elevating and handling escalated abnormal events and other matters temporarily assigned by the higher-level supervisor

•Follow work order to complete production plan.

•Manage process and automation technicians to maintain machine performance and consistency.

•Coordinate associates when machines are down with other schedules and assign them additional tasks.

•Complete the daily production report and downtime report.

•Manage the online warehouse to ensure inventory accuracy.

Requirements:

•High school diploma or GED (associate degree preferred)

•Minimum of 3 years of workshop management experience

•Minimum of 3 years of injection mold experience

•Understanding of quality requirements in the plastics industry and familiarity with ERP operation

•Proficient in using office software

•Demonstrate strong leadership and management skills, with an ability to coordinate and communicate effectively
