Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough evaluations of clients' mental health and substance use issues to assess treatment needs and develop appropriate care plans.

• Perform prior authorization reviews to ensure that mental health and substance use services are medically appropriate, adhering to regulatory guidelines.

• Engage in concurrent reviews of behavioral health inpatient admissions to evaluate the need for continued treatment and assist in discharge planning.

• Analyze data related to behavioral health services to enhance quality and ensure effective resource utilization.

• Educate clients, their families, and healthcare providers on the behavioral health utilization process, fostering informed decision-making.

• Collaborate with other healthcare providers to discuss care levels and services needed for optimal client outcomes.

• Work closely with medical directors and leadership to improve overall care quality and efficiency.

• Present cases and participate in integrated rounds, contributing to collaborative decision-making and comprehensive care strategies.

• Adhere to organizational policies and professional standards while performing various other duties as assigned.

Qualifications\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

The compensation for this position ranges from $90,000 to $110,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
