Café Manager

The Café Manager is responsible for overseeing daily food service operations and ensuring standards of excellence are consistently met. This role leads and develops associates, supports financial performance, maintains food safety and sanitation standards, and helps create a welcoming café experience for guests.

Key Responsibilities

• Hire, supervise, train, coach, and develop associates.
• Manage daily café operations to ensure quality, service, and operational efficiency.
• Plan, market, and execute café promotions, special events, and guest engagement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with sanitation, safety, and cleaning standards.
• Support budget management and identify opportunities to improve the business.
• Monitor cash handling procedures and proper use of food service equipment.
• Maintain a positive, service-focused team environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 1-3 years of relevant food service management experience.
• Experience in restaurants, hotels, corporate dining, education, military, healthcare, or related food service operations.
• Knowledge of cash handling procedures and food service equipment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• ServSafe or Department of Health Certification preferred.
