The Roxy Hotel is an electric destination for music, film, and art, located on the border of SoHo and TriBeCa. The Roxy Hotel is looking for an experienced Manager to oversee The Roxy Café. Must have a passion for people and craft coffee. Inspired by European café culture, the Roxy Café invites hotel guests and locals alike for coffee and espresso daily. Proudly serving Partners Coffee.

Responsibilities include:

• Lead the day-to-day service of the café, including coffee, food, cocktail, and wine offerings.
• Training and evaluating team members in their roles
• Scheduling and payroll
• Inventory and purchasing
• Ensure that all brand standards are implemented.
• Work cohesively with all other departments in the hotel.

Required Organizational Values and Qualifications:

• Energetic and detail-oriented with exceptional interpersonal skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills along with knowledge of Excel and Word are required
• Able to work effectively with all department managers
• Required to work the hours necessary to the success of the business. Schedules are not guaranteed and are subject to change weekly. These hours will vary due to the volume of business and other management coverage. Changes are at discretion of the Food & Beverage Director.

Required Organizational Values and Qualifications:

• 2-3 years of progressive F&B management experience, preferably in café or high-volume casual dining environments.
• Barista or specialty coffee training background required.
• Strong working knowledge of POS System and inventory systems.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and team development skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, and early mornings.
