Description – What You'll Do

• Conduct routine and specialized lab tests—encompassing chemistry, hematology, immunology, and beyond—following established protocols.
• Evaluate test outcomes for accuracy, address issues through troubleshooting, and oversee the maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment.
• Support specimen collection and preparation for testing when necessary.
• Keep meticulous documentation of all procedures, mentor new colleagues or students, and aid in maintaining laboratory quality assurance standards.
• Ensure a clean and safe laboratory environment while complying with all regulatory and accreditation requirements.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or a related allied health degree, accompanied by ASCP/AMT certification preparation.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) is to be obtained within one year of employment.
• Ensure continued certification is maintained throughout your employment duration.
