Key Responsibilities\n

The ideal candidate will balance therapeutic duties with administrative tasks efficiently. Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing individual and couples therapy to a diverse clientele, focusing on students from various backgrounds and age groups, with an emphasis on addressing the unique challenges they face in school.

• Completing timely documentation for all client interactions to ensure compliance and facilitate ongoing care coordination.

• Managing an organized appointment calendar while scheduling ongoing sessions with clients and their families.

• Collaborating with other school professionals and community providers to establish effective treatment plans and resource connections.

• Utilizing a professional billing service that oversees claims, insurance accounts, eligibility checks, and payment arrangements, allowing you to focus on providing care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role will significantly impact students navigating academic, social, and emotional challenges. You will provide vital support to children and adolescents facing issues such as anxiety, depression, family transitions, and peer relationships. By establishing trust and developing strong therapeutic relationships, you will empower students to achieve their personal and academic goals.

Qualifications\n

To excel in this role, you will need:

• A Bachelor's degree in Social Work or a related field, as well as being independently licensed as a LICSW in Washington.

• Strong personal attributes, including professionalism, cultural competency, excellent therapeutic boundaries, and the ability to self-manage and organize.

• An availability to commit to a full-time schedule (40 hours/week), including working at least two evenings per week to accommodate client needs.

Preferred Experience\n

We encourage candidates with extensive training, particularly in couples therapy, to apply as this skill set will be greatly valued within our practice. Experience working within school settings or with young populations will be considered an asset.
