Business Development Director

This is a high-impact, individual contributor role focused on driving strategic growth across the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors. Working with some of the world's most innovative life sciences organisations, you'll be responsible for developing new business opportunities and building long-term partnerships that support clinical trials, advanced therapies, and commercial pharmaceutical supply chains. The Role As a Business Development Director, you'll lead new business development activities across a defined territory, identifying opportunities, engaging senior stakeholders, and managing consultative sales cycles from prospecting through to contract award. Key Responsibilities Identify, develop and secure new business opportunities across pharmaceutical and biotechnology organisations Build relationships with senior decision‑makers within Clinical Operations, Supply Chain, Procurement, Manufacturing and Commercial teams Develop strategic account plans and execute targeted business development initiatives Lead complex consultative sales processes from initial engagement through to contract negotiation Maintain an active pipeline and consistently achieve or exceed sales targets Represent the business at industry conferences, networking events and customer meetings About You We're looking for an ambitious and commercially minded business development professional who thrives in a consultative sales environment.
