NOW HIRING! Payroll Clerk – Temporary to Hire

Location: Pasadena, CA
Pay: $23-$25/hour
Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and communicative Payroll Clerk to support payroll operations and employee inquiries. This is a temporary-to-hire opportunity with strong potential for permanent placement after a successful probationary period. This role is ideal for someone with 2–3 years of administrative or data entry experience who is sharp, organized, and enjoys providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Scan and process payroll-related documents into the internal ticketing system
• Respond to employee payroll inquiries via ticketing system and phone
• Research and resolve inquiries, escalating complex issues when needed
• Accurately document all communications and resolutions
• Perform high-volume data entry with strong attention to detail
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee and payroll information
• Support team during peak payroll cycles and assist with general administrative tasks

Qualifications:

• 2–3 years of experience in administrative support and data entry
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
