Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients, aimed at evaluating the severity and impact of their mood disorder symptoms, ensuring a thorough understanding of individual circumstances.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to aid clients in managing their mood disorders effectively.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, their treatment options, and essential self-care strategies, empowering them through knowledge.

• Monitor clients' progress meticulously, adapting treatment strategies as required to facilitate optimal outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The ideal candidate will work primarily with individuals experiencing mood disorders such as depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related conditions. Our patients come from a wide array of backgrounds and experiences, requiring therapists who are adaptable and culturally competent.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A valid licensure as an LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT in Washington State.

• Demonstrated expertise in evidence-based treatment modalities, particularly CBT and DBT.

• Strong familiarity with psychopharmacology, enabling effective collaboration with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers.
