Director of Business Development
Axon Vision
Axon Vision is expanding its presence in the U.S. defense market through its strategic partnership with Leonardo DRS and is seeking a Director of Business Development to help drive that growth. The Role As Director of Business Development, you will drive Axon Vision's U.S. growth strategy and capture efforts, working closely with defense customers, Leonardo DRS, and company leadership. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining key government relationships, identifying and pursuing new opportunities, supporting capture efforts, and expanding the company's U.S. commercial presence. This position offers significant influence over U.S. growth strategy and customer engagement. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute growth and capture strategies across Army, Navy/USMC, Air Force, and SOCOM customers. Build and maintain relationships with DoD program offices, acquisition organizations, PEOs, PMs, and other key stakeholders. Partner closely with Leonardo DRS to align Axon Vision technologies with relevant defense programs and pursuits. Lead and support capture activities for U.S. defense opportunities. Recruit, mentor, and lead a U.S.-based team supporting growth initiatives. Represent Axon Vision at major defense industry events, customer engagements, and strategic meetings. Collaborate with product teams in Israel to align customer requirements with product roadmap priorities. Requirements Must be a U.S. citizen. 15+ years of experience in defense business development, capture management, or program management. Demonstrated success leading or supporting business development and capture activities for U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) programs. Strong relationships within the U.S. defense acquisition community. Experience operating within prime contractor/subcontractor environments. Experience in at least two of the following areas: Counter-UAS Tactical UAS / Loitering Munitions Armored Vehicle Modernization Weapon Station Integration Active TS clearance preferred, or active Secret clearance with the ability to upgrade. Preferred Qualifications Prior military service. Experience helping innovative defense technology companies expand within the U.S. defense market. Familiarity with FMS, DCSA, CFIUS, and NISPOM. #J-18808-Ljbffr
