Business Development Representative (BDR)

About us At Roadrunner, we’re replacing the broken CPQ software that Sales teams have complained about, worked around, and given up on for years. Not improving it - replacing it. We’re building a new agentic stack called PQA - Prompt, Quote, Approve, designed for the enterprise, on a data model built for how pricing actually works today. We’re Kleiner Perkins’ first incubation since Glean, led by second-time founders with successful exits, and a team of engineers from Snowflake, Databricks, Citadel, Meta, Robinhood, Brex, and so on. We’re in-person in San Francisco, and we’re just getting started. What you\'ll do Source new sales opportunities through inbound qualification and outbound outreach Reach out to potential customers through various channels including cold calling, email, and social media Grow top of sales funnel through warm and cold outbound campaigns Research companies, identify key players, and work with Account Executives on pipeline generation strategies Collaborate with the marketing team to align on campaigns and messaging Stay up-to-date with product offerings and industry trends Learn critical sales skills, such as leading effective discovery calls, cold calling, objection handling, articulating and selling value, prioritization and time management, and more You may be a good fit if you Have a high level of interest in growing your career in a customer-facing role Have strong communication skills, both verbal and written Have that grit and determination to succeed at all costs Are competetive Are genuinely curious about understanding customers’ business challenges Are dedicated to tracking and improving performance and efficiency on a daily basis Exhibit a sense of entrepreneurship: a self-starter with a high sense of urgency and ability to work within undefined processes Are self-motivated with a drive to succeed and knack for building relationships Want to get ground floor of what will be a once in a generation type of opportunity What we offer Medical, dental, and vision benefits for you and your family.
