Work Environment\n

This role combines the benefits of remote work with the supportive culture of an established community health clinic. While the primary work hours are Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, some scheduling flexibility may be required to address the needs of our patients effectively.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to ascertain patients' needs and collaboratively establish personalized treatment plans.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions to diverse clients utilizing modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy.

• Facilitate psychoeducational and support groups, providing patients with a sense of community and resources for managing their mental health conditions.

• Engage in regular collaboration with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other team members to ensure coordinated and holistic care.

• Provide crisis intervention services, offering support and guidance during mental health emergencies.

• Educate patients on mental health conditions, available treatment options, and community resources, helping them navigate their path to recovery.

• Maintain accurate, confidential records in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring patient information is protected.

• Participate actively in case consultations and team meetings to enhance care quality and share insights.

• Stay updated with the latest developments in mental health therapy, integrating new knowledge into practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of this role is providing care to individuals experiencing various mental health issues, including but not limited to depression, anxiety disorders, and substance abuse. Our patient population often comes from diverse backgrounds and may face unique challenges, making cultural competence and empathy essential attributes for success in this role.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in California.

• In-depth knowledge of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment modalities.

• Demonstrated experience in conducting mental health assessments and creating effective treatment plans.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this full-time role ranges from USD 115,000 to 130,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
