Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments for up to 7 patients a day to determine their rehabilitation needs.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans utilizing evidence-based practices and advanced therapeutic techniques.
• Provide a variety of hands-on therapies including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities to promote recovery.
• Educate patients and their families about treatment protocols, exercises, and coping strategies to enhance their rehabilitation journey.
• Continuously monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal recovery outcomes.
• Collaborate effectively with fellow therapists, physicians, and healthcare providers to ensure a cohesive treatment approach.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patients typically consist of individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, chronic pain, and other musculoskeletal conditions. You will engage with patients of varying ages and backgrounds, providing tailored care aimed at restoring function and improving their quality of life. Your expertise will play a crucial role in their recovery process, utilizing your knowledge to empower patients through education and support.

Qualifications

• A valid Physical Therapy License for New York State is required.
• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is mandatory; a Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy is highly desirable.
• A minimum of 2 years of outpatient physical therapy experience is essential.
• Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients and their families.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with diverse outpatient physical therapy techniques, including but not limited to manual therapy, dry needling, and advanced modalities.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems for documenting patient progress and treatment plans.
• Experience working in a multidisciplinary team setting is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000, commensurate with experience.
