Business Development Executive

We're looking for a Business Development Sales Executive to drive growth in the Cleveland market by partnering with brokers to deliver smarter, more flexible health plan strategies. This is a high-impact role focused on self-funded and level-funded solutions , designed for someone who thrives in relationship-driven, consultative sales. What You’ll Do Build and expand a broker-driven pipeline across the Cleveland and Northern Ohio market Develop strong partnerships with benefits brokers and consultants Position self-funded, level-funded, and alternative funding strategies for employers Identify and close mid-market and large group opportunities , including carve-outs Consult with employers and brokers to design custom, high-value benefit solutions Manage a long-cycle sales process from prospecting through close What You Bring Proven success in employee benefits sales (self-funded and/or level-funded strongly preferred) Deep experience working through the broker/consultant channel Established relationships in the Cleveland/Northern Ohio market (highly preferred) Strong consultative selling and ability to simplify complex funding strategies Track record of building and closing a relationship-based pipeline Excellent presentation, negotiation, and communication skills CRM experience (Salesforce or similar) Bachelor's degree preferred, but real-world sales success matters most .
