This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who is passionate about payroll processes and has a keen eye for detail. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of payroll, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all applicable regulations. This role is integral to our business operations and requires a high level of precision and reliability. Responsibilities: Manage the preparation, distribution, and reporting processes for payroll. Oversee electronic payments and distribution of payroll checks. Process payroll adjustments, manual checks, garnishments, and tax levies. Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies and irregularities. Maintain and document all payroll records. Conduct routine audits of payroll procedures and records. Work with HR and accounting teams to reconcile payroll data. Comply with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions. Utilize payroll software systems, including ADP, and Workday, to automate processes. Develop and implement policies and procedures for the payroll process. Prepare and provide payroll-related reports to management as needed. Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications: 2+ years of experience in Payroll or a related field. Experience with ADP, Workday, or equivalent payroll software is required. Proven experience with payroll automation and payroll investigation. Strong understanding of payroll and payroll tax laws. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to manage complex payroll issues. High level of integrity and ability to maintain strict confidentiality. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
