Benefits Medical: Blue Cross Blue Shields of Michigan Dental: Delta Dental Vision: VSP Life: The Standard Voluntary Life: The Standard Short Term Disability: The Standard Long Term Disability: The Standard Hospital: The Standard Critical Illness: The Standard Accident: The Standard 401K - After 3 months of employment Responsibilities Repair, install, maintain, calibrate and inspect a diverse range of therapeutic and diagnostic biomedical instrumentation Complete all required paperwork on new equipment inspections and equipment repairs and failures accurately and on time Properly maintain company issued equipment Maintain expected productivity according to productivity and billing requirements Stay current with new products and new technologies in the biomedical industry Communicate job status to management Requirements Strong demonstrable technical troubleshooting ability Working knowledge of electronics, electricity, electro-mechanical, fluidics, pneumatics and hydraulic theories and practices Understanding of and ability to operate specialized test equipment used on medical equipment Broad knowledge base of various hospital/homecare medical equipment Excellent computer skills including proficiency with (MS-Windows, MS-Office Suites) Adaptable and able to respond to changing priorities while remaining focused on results Physically able to fulfill job functions, including lifting up to 50 lbs., using small tools and BMET equipment Associate’s degree in Electronics or Biomedical Equipment Technology (or successful completion of the military BMET school) Who you are Team player, highly organized and detail oriented Excellent verbal and written communication, and interpersonal skills Strong, consistent work ethic and time management skills Ability to multitask and meet deadlines Ability to work in a high paced work environment Maintain high level of customer service Proactive in identifying opportunities for improvement and driving process improvements Experienced in servicing biomedical equipment, preferably in a field service environment. #J-18808-Ljbffr in Collaborative
