Key Responsibilities\n

As a Mental Health Counselor at Better Together Counseling Services, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Delivering individual therapy that incorporates evidence-based psychological modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or person-centered approaches to support personal growth.

• Establishing therapeutic goals and regularly monitoring clients’ progress to adjust treatment plans as necessary.

• Offering teletherapy options to ensure accessibility for clients, which may include scheduling virtual sessions and managing client outreach through our digital platforms.

• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation in compliance with ethical standards and organizational policies.

• Engaging in ongoing professional development through available resources, training sessions, and peer feedback to enhance your therapeutic skills.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse population of clients facing various mental health challenges, including trauma, anxiety, depression, and more. Your role will be crucial in helping individuals understand their mental health concerns and empower them to adopt healthier coping strategies.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate for this position will possess:

• A current and valid state license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients.

• Demonstrated empathy, compassion, and a non-judgmental attitude towards clients’ diverse experiences.
