Work Environment\n

This role is primarily remote, allowing for flexibility in your work schedule while serving clients effectively. You'll have the resources and technology to connect with clients through secure video conferencing tools. Given the nature of our detox center, you will also attend certain in-person sessions when needed to ensure proper assessment and treatment planning.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct confidential and individualized counseling sessions using video chat, enabling clients to express their thoughts, feelings, and concerns comfortably.

• Perform comprehensive assessments to understand clients’ psychological and social needs, using evidence-based techniques to formulate tailored treatment plans.

• Implement effective therapeutic interventions, drawing from various modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) or dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) to address clients’ unique challenges.

• Monitor client progress and adaptability to treatment plans, holding regular update sessions to adjust strategies as needed.

• Advocate for clients by helping them set realistic goals, navigate community resources, and integrate coping strategies into their daily lives.

• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, medical staff, and wellness coordinators to ensure cohesive and holistic care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with individuals undergoing detoxification and facing a range of emotional and psychological struggles related to substance use and mental health disorders. This role requires a compassionate approach to understanding their backgrounds and the unique challenges they face, including trauma, co-occurring disorders, and socio-economic difficulties.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution.

• Current, valid state Licensure as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with no active disciplinary actions.

• Demonstrated clinical expertise in psychological assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and crisis intervention.
\n
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, able to establish trust and rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.

• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems and remote service delivery platforms.

Preferred Experience\n

• Two or more years of post-licensure clinical experience in a mental health or substance abuse treatment setting.

• Experience in treating adults with dual diagnoses, including mental health and addiction issues.

• Knowledge of community resources and social services systems relevant to mental health and substance abuse treatment.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive annual salary in the range of USD 115,000 to 130,000 , commensurate with experience and expertise.
