Position Summary

The Nothing Bundt Cakes (NbC) Outside Sales and Events Coordinator is an essential role that will collaborate with Bakery management and Marketing to develop strategies to engage guests and drive sales back to the Bakery. The [position] will generate new business and increase off-site sales by identifying and securing event opportunities, building B2B relationships, and managing the execution of events in collaboration with local company-owned bakeries. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on networking, cold calling, and turning community connections into revenue-driving partnerships.

Accountabilities/Duties:

• Initiate cold calls, emails, other outbound communication, and in-person visits to local businesses, event organizers, and community leaders to gain new partnership opportunities.
• Partner with Bakery management to identify and grow opportunities for DFW company-owned bakeries while leverage marketing tools.
• Ensure partner satisfaction through ongoing communication and relationship management to generate recurring business and referrals.
• Proactively research local events, festivals, corporate and community events and secure opportunities that translate to off-site sales for DFW company-owned bakeries.
• Manage logistics, timelines, and communication between partners and the Bakery to ensure high quality service and event execution.
• Maintain detailed records and report key metrics of outreach efforts, outcome of cold calls, event results, revenue generated, and conversion rates from outreach to sale.
• Achieve monthly and quarterly targets for off-site sales and event bookings.
• Continuously seek new opportunities to grow revenue and brand visibility in the community.

Skills and Abilities:

• Strong sales and customer engagement skills, with the ability to proactively engage guests, identify sales opportunities, and convert interactions into immediate and future business.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); social media experience a plus.
• Skilled in analyzing and reporting key performance indicators
• Ability to analyze large datasets to support business decisions and outreach strategies.
• Self-starter motivated to grow sales building skills while championing the NbC experience.

 

Education/Certifications and Work Experience Requirements:

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred.
• Experience in outside sales, event planning, catering or hospitality sales preferred.
• Proven success in cold calling and lead generation.
• Experience in retail, food service, or hospitality is a plus.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable access to transportation, as the role requires regular visits to current and prospective business partners and community events.

Work Availability:

• Comfortable working flexible hours, including evenings and weekends for events.
