Finance Manager

A leading media and entertainment company is hiring a Finance Manager to own the P&L and day-to-day financial operations of its sports agency division. This is a hands-on, high-visibility role sitting at the center of the business, working directly with agents, consultants, and senior leadership across every sports vertical. If you're someone who thrives on detail, moves fast, and wants real ownership over accounting, billing, and reporting for a roster of high-profile clients, this one's worth a look. What you'll own: Month-end close, accruals, and reconciliations across all sports divisions Deferred revenue schedules and accurate revenue recognition Commission expense tracking, bonus reconciliations, and P&L reporting by sport, client, and deal type End-to-end invoicing for 300+ clients on a bi-annual cycle, plus AR and collections Weekly cash flow reporting and rolling forecasts Athlete contracts, deal terms, and commission structures in Airtable Support for union reporting and compliance documentation What you'll bring: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 5–8 years of progressive accounting/finance experience, with strong AR, accrual accounting, and month-end close skills Advanced Excel; Oracle or similar ERP experience required Airtable or similar workflow platform experience, strongly preferred A sharp eye for detail and the ability to manage high-volume data without dropping the ball Comfort juggling multiple deadlines independently, in a fast-moving environment Experience in a sports agency, talent management, or professional sports organization Familiarity with athlete contracts, NIL deals, and sports marketing agreements Background supporting union reporting or multi-entity financial environments Medical, vision, dental, and mental health coverage, plus FSA/HSA access 401(k) with company match Paid holidays, sick time, and floating days Free concert tickets If you meet the requirements above, please apply! #J-18808-Ljbffr
