Job Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient evaluations, encompassing physical assessments and in-depth medical history reviews

• Provide crucial intraoperative support, ensuring optimal preparation of surgical environments, correct patient positioning, and passing instruments with precision
• Deliver high-quality pre- and post-operative care, consisting of medication management, wound treatment, discharge planning, and patient education

Education Requirements

• Master's degree obtained from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Preferred completion of clinical rotations with a surgical focus

Certifications Needed

• Active and unrestricted PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
