Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Red Oak Mental Healthcare, your role will involve a variety of activities centered on delivering high-quality mental health services:

• Group Therapy Facilitation: Lead dynamic and interactive group sessions designed to help clients articulate their experiences, gain insights from peers, and foster a sense of community.

• Individual Therapy Sessions: Provide tailored counseling that encourages clients to explore their feelings, thoughts, and behaviors, while developing effective coping strategies.

• Treatment Planning: Collaborate with clients to draft personalized treatment plans that align with their unique goals and progress through our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP).

• Progress Monitoring: Utilize a variety of assessment tools to evaluate client progress, adapt treatment plans as necessary, and ensure optimal outcomes.

• Team Collaboration: Engage with a multidisciplinary team of professionals to ensure coordinated care, share insights on complex cases, and contribute to a unified approach in client services.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on young adults from 18 to 30 years of age who are navigating various mental health conditions. This includes clients facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, and stress-related disorders. You will provide a safe and nurturing environment where they can explore their issues, develop coping mechanisms, and work toward their recovery goals.

Qualifications\n

To excel in this role, you must meet the following qualifications:

• A valid license as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of New Jersey.

• A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in psychology, counseling, social work, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
