Key Responsibilities

Your role as a Physical Therapist will involve a variety of challenging and rewarding tasks including:

• Directing individualized physical therapy treatments that focus on preventing disability, alleviating pain, and restoring muscle function according to each patient's plan of care.
• Supervising and mentoring physical therapy assistants to ensure the quality and consistency of treatment delivery.
• Conducting comprehensive evaluations of patient function through diagnostic tests and assessments to formulate effective treatment plans.
• Providing therapeutic interventions in accordance with physician orders, including manual therapy, the administration of modalities, and developing exercise regimens aimed at achieving patient-specific goals.
• Monitoring patient progress, observing and documenting changes in their condition, and adapting treatment plans as required in collaboration with the healthcare team.
• Engaging with patients and their families, educating them on treatment protocols, and providing them with the tools necessary for ongoing recovery at home.
• Participating in interdisciplinary team meetings to enhance the holistic care patients receive at our facility.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The patients you will work with encompasses a broad spectrum of individuals recovering from injuries, surgeries, or chronic conditions. Our clients range from post-operative orthopedic patients to those seeking rehabilitation from neurological disorders. You will apply your expertise to create customized care plans that prioritize patient comfort, safety, and progress, ensuring each client reaches their maximum potential.

Qualifications

We are looking for candidates who meet the following criteria:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• A minimum of one year of experience as a Physical Therapist, preferably within a rehabilitation or outpatient clinic setting.
• Current PT licensure in good standing in the state of Florida.
• CPR certification that remains current.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to foster positive relationships with patients, families, and team members.
• A commitment to excellence in clinical practice and a passion for continuous professional development.

Preferred Experience

Experience in an interdisciplinary care setting is advantageous, as is familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems for efficient documentation and management of patient care. Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
