Work Environment

As a Physical Therapist at Perfect Ratio Therapy Services, you will work directly with clients in their homes, allowing you to create customized treatment plans in a familiar and comfortable setting. Key Responsibilities

• Direct and implement individualized physical therapy treatment plans aimed at preventing disabilities, alleviating pain, and optimizing muscle function to maintain maximum performance within each client's capabilities.
• Conduct comprehensive evaluations through diagnostic assessments to assess clients' functional abilities, which guides the therapy approach.
• Oversee physical therapy assistants to ensure that treatment plans are executed effectively and that clients receive the highest level of care.
• Evaluate each client's home environment and make necessary recommendations to enhance their independence and facilitate rehabilitation.
• Provide hands-on physical therapy services, including administering therapeutic exercises, traction, and massage, along with teaching clients appropriate non-manual exercises.
• Fit and adjust prosthetic and orthotic devices while liaising with physicians for necessary modifications based on the client's progress.
• Document clinical records meticulously, including evaluations, care plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
• Act as an active participant in interdisciplinary case conferences, collaborating with other healthcare professionals to develop a holistic treatment strategy for clients.
• Educate clients and their families on the use and maintenance of therapeutic devices and provide instructions on the overall physical therapy program.
• Conduct regular assessments to review and adjust treatment plans while addressing changes in clients' conditions and therapy responses.
• Complete additional tasks as needed to further the goals of the organization and ensure the best outcomes for clients.

This role primarily focuses on clients receiving home care services, ranging from those recovering from surgeries or injuries to individuals managing chronic conditions. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is required; candidates with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) will be given preference.
• A minimum of one year of experience in a physical therapist role, preferably in an acute care or home care setting.
• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist (in good standing) and a valid CPR certification.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills and the ability to effectively engage with clients and their families.
• A commitment to clinical excellence, integrity, and a passion for creating a positive patient care experience.
• Proficiency in understanding federal, state, and agency regulations that govern physical therapy practice.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making, enhancing the overall treatment effectiveness.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience providing home health care services.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
