OSSE Certified After School Educator – Washington, DC

Apollo After School is hiring! We are looking for enthusiastic and reliable educators to join our after-school programs in DC.

We are seeking candidates who are OSSE certified with an active DELT profile, or who have completed the OSSE certification process , and who are passionate about creating engaging, positive, and supportive experiences for students.

Pay: Starting at $23 per hour (based on experience and qualifications)

Requirements:
✅ OSSE Certified / DELT profile preferred (or experience going through the OSSE certification process)

✅Availability to work Monday through Friday in aftercare hours
✅ Experience working with school-age children

✅ Positive attitude, reliability, and strong communication skills

✅ Applicants must be 18+ and have a high school diploma or equivalent.

Physical Environment:

• Able to stay active and on your feet for extended periods.
• Able to move quickly (walk, jog, or run) to ensure student safety.
• Frequent bending, reaching, and participating in physical activities with children.
• Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions.
