Corporate Paralegal

We’re working with a leading global organization at the intersection of research, technology, and innovation to hire a Legal Assistant or Senior Legal Assistant . This role is a great opportunity to join a high-performing legal team supporting corporate governance, compliance, and operational excellence across U.S. entities. New York (Hybrid) About the Opportunity This position is a key member of the U.S. legal team, supporting corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and legal operations . You’ll collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and external partners while helping ensure the organization meets its legal obligations and maintains strong governance standards. Corporate Governance & Administrative Support Manage calendars, meetings, travel arrangements, and expense processing Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, presentations, and supporting documentation Maintain legal files, records, and office operations Support corporate secretarial functions, including: Maintaining corporate books and records Preparing minutes, resolutions, and officer certificates Coordinating filings with state and federal agencies Monitor compliance requirements and assist with regulatory filings Support KYC and due diligence processes Legal & Operational Support Provide administrative and project support to the legal team Assist with contract management and legal documentation Support litigation processes, including document organization and production Assist with M&A due diligence and intercompany agreements Manage legal databases and document management systems Support trademark administration and maintenance of legal templates Act as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders Assist with risk management and legal team initiatives Qualifications 2+ years of experience in a corporate paralegal or legal administrative role 4+ years of experience for Senior Legal Assistant consideration Experience with corporate governance, company secretarial work, or compliance Basic understanding of corporate law concepts Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Excellent communication skills and ability to work across teams Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) Experience with tools such as SharePoint, iManage, Workiva, Wrike, or similar systems Background in a global organization or professional services environment #J-18808-Ljbffr Taylor Root
