Desired Background & Experience

• Current certification as an Intervention Specialist or Special Education Teacher
• Previous experience working with students with diverse learning needs, ideally spanning early childhood (Pre-K–Kindergarten) and upper elementary/middle school (Grades 5–8)
• Solid understanding of individualized education plans (IEPs) and progress monitoring strategies
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Ability to work effectively with school teams, families, and related service providers

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver individualized instruction and targeted academic support for students with varied needs
• Create, implement, and monitor IEPs to ensure appropriate services and measurable student progress
• Maintain accurate documentation, including student records and compliance reports
• Regularly assess student growth, making timely adjustments to instructional strategies
• Foster a supportive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment
• Participate in IEP meetings, offering expertise and advocacy for student goals

This opportunity is full-time and in-person, Monday through Friday, with a balanced caseload across two school sites—one serving early learners, the other grades 5–8. You'll play a pivotal part in helping students navigate and overcome learning challenges, working closely with a dedicated team of educators and specialists.
