Thread Roll Operator

Come join our growing team! B & G Manufacturing is seeking a skilled and dependable Thread Roll Operator to join our manufacturing team. This position is responsible for the safe and efficient setup and operation of thread rolling equipment to produce high-quality threaded components that meet customer and engineering specifications.

The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, quality-focused, safety-conscious, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate thread rolling machines safely and efficiently
• Produce threaded parts that meet blueprint, work order, and quality specifications
• Inspect parts using measuring tools and gauges to verify dimensions and material requirements
• Maintain productivity and quality standards established by supervision and engineering
• Monitor tooling condition and notify supervision when repairs or replacements are needed
• Troubleshoot machine and production issues to minimize downtime
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Follow all company safety procedures and PPE requirements

Qualifications

• Experience operating thread rolling machinery preferred
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders
• Experience using measuring equipment and performing quality inspections
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors, quality personnel, and team members

Preferred Experience

• 2-4 years of thread rolling or related manufacturing experience
• Knowledge of threading and fastener manufacturing processes
• Familiarity with manufacturing quality control procedures

Physical Requirements

• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment
• Must be able to lift, move, and handle materials up to 70 pounds
• Required to wear appropriate PPE including safety glasses, gloves, and hearing protection
