Job Title

Medical/Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse

Location

Salem, MA | Inpatient

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 36 Hours per Week | Night Shift | Every Other Weekend

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to adult medical patients on a 24-bed private room inpatient medical telemetry unit
• Read and interpret cardiac telemetry strips as a core component of patient monitoring and care
• Manage a patient assignment of 4–5 patients per RN in accordance with unit staffing ratios
• Document patient care and clinical information using EPIC EMR
• Float to other units as needed to support staffing requirements
• Rotate shifts as required to cover open night shifts, including occasional day shift rotations

Required Qualifications

• Active Massachusetts RN License required
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a single location, or 2 years of experience as a travel nurse
• Demonstrated ability to read and interpret cardiac telemetry strips

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a medical/surgical telemetry setting
• Familiarity with EPIC electronic medical records system
• Experience working in a high-census inpatient environment
