Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess the intensity, frequency, and duration of clients' mood disorder symptoms.

• Collaborate with clients to create individualized treatment plans that align with their specific needs and personal goals.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic techniques, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to effectively address clients' issues.

• Provide educational support to clients and their families regarding mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care strategies.
\n
• Regularly track and monitor client progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans to optimize outcomes.

• Engage in interdisciplinary teamwork by working alongside psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated care for clients.

• Stay abreast of the latest research and developments in mood disorder treatment to continually enhance therapeutic methodologies.

• Maintain accurate and confidential records that comply with legal and ethical standards.
\n
• Participate in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development opportunities to improve clinical skills.

• Advocate for clients, promoting mental health awareness and reducing stigma associated with mental health issues.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily support individuals experiencing mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety. Additionally, you will work with diverse groups such as the homeless population, refugees, and victims of domestic violence, making your contribution to the community even more impactful.

Qualifications\n

• A current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.

• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field is also required.

• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build trusting therapeutic relationships with clients, demonstrating empathy and a nonjudgmental attitude.

• Excellent organizational and time management abilities to effectively handle clinical and administrative tasks.

Compensation and Benefits\n

• The annual salary for this position ranges from $70,000 to $90,000, commensurate with your qualifications and experience.
