Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Oasis of Hope, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough assessments to understand clients' backgrounds, emotional struggles, interpersonal dynamics, and established recovery goals, which will guide the development of personalized and effective treatment plans.

• Employing family systems theory and established therapeutic techniques to facilitate improved communication, conflict resolution, and coping strategies among clients and their loved ones.

• Collaborating closely with physical therapists, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to align therapeutic goals and provide integrated care that addresses both mental health and physical recovery needs.

• Offering immediate support and crisis intervention during high-stress moments, particularly when clients are facing acute challenges in their rehabilitation process.

• Maintaining accurate and confidential client records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and ethical standards, including detailed progress notes and treatment plans.

• Educating clients and their families about the emotional aspects of recovery, equipping them with effective coping mechanisms and strategies to strengthen family relations.

Qualifications\n
