Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of clients, tailoring individualized therapy strategies that align with their unique needs.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to individuals, families, couples, and groups, focusing on effective modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused brief therapy.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic medical record (EMR) software to streamline administrative tasks.

• Engage with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care, sharing insights and collaborating on treatment plans that optimize client outcomes.

• Participate in ongoing professional development, attending workshops and training sessions to stay informed of the latest advancements in mental health research and practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your client focus will revolve around a diverse range of individuals and families who may have limited access to traditional mental health services. You will engage with clients presenting various mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relational challenges, promoting resilience and wellbeing through tailored therapeutic strategies.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.

• Active, unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas.

• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in counseling is essential.

• Strong understanding and adherence to legal and ethical standards in mental health practices.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to establish rapport with a diverse clientele.
