Watts & Associates is working discreetly with a highly regarded Am Law 200 ranked national law firm seeking a 3rd to 4th year Corporate Transactions Associate to join its Atlanta office on an in office basis.
This is a transactional role focused on sophisticated corporate matters, with a particular emphasis on mergers and acquisitions work for a range of corporate clients.
The team offers a well established platform with a collaborative, partner led approach, strong deal flow, and the chance to take meaningful ownership of workstreams while continuing to build core deal skills.
The Opportunity
The associate will support and run key components of M&A transactions, including diligence, drafting and negotiating principal and ancillary documents, coordinating with specialists, and managing deal execution from signing through closing.
Ideal Candidate Profile
The firm is seeking a 3rd to 4th year Corporate Transactions Associate with:
- 3 to 4 years of corporate and business transactions experience in a law firm setting
- Meaningful mergers and acquisitions experience, including drafting and negotiating transaction documents
- Excellent academic credentials and strong attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal skills and a practical, commercially focused approach to advising clients
- Admission to practice in Georgia and Illinois required

Compensation
Compensation will be competitive and aligned with experience, seniority and the wider market for comparable roles.
