The Accounting Manager will plan and direct accounting activities within a finance department or division of an organization by performing the following duties, personally or through subordinate supervisors. Come be a part of an exciting journey at Daikin Applied, where innovation and excellence drive our every endeavor!**Location**: Plymouth, MN - Hybrid**Your Responsibilities:*** Provide direction and leadership in the management of accounting practices.* Oversee the maintenance of the company's general ledgers.* Assist in managing the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.* Oversee journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance.* Develop policies and procedures to support the organization’s accounting policies.* Interact with outside auditors and participate in occasional auditing projects or provide information and access to general ledger and other accounting records as required.* Manage employees by establishing, reviewing, and providing feedback regarding annual performance goals.* Develop and determine priorities and monitor status of special projects on an ongoing basis.* Identify inefficiencies and implement process improvements (e.g., automation) for faster, more accurate financial reporting.**Your Qualifications:*** Bachelor’s degree in Accounting* 8+ years of Accounting experience* 4+ years of people leadership experience**Preferred Qualifications:*** CPA* Manufacturing experience**Your Benefits:**Daikin Applied offers the following benefits for this position, subject to applicable eligibility requirements:* Multiple medical insurance plan options + dental and vision insurance* 401K retirement plan with employer match* Paid time off and company-paid holidays* Paid sick time in accordance with the federal, state and local law* Tuition Reimbursement after 6 months of continuous serviceWork visa sponsorship is not available for this positionThe typical annual base salary for this position ranges from $90,000-$153,300 + 10% bonus in Minnesota. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade in which this position falls.
