As an Armed Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will help maintain a secure environment by managing entry points, verifying access, monitoring activity, and responding to security-related concerns. You will remain visible to help deter incidents while delivering professional customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and/or employees by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and authorized access, and maintain accurate visitor, vendor, and delivery records.
• Screen incoming and outgoing vehicles, shipments, and personnel in accordance with site procedures, helping to deter unauthorized access and loss-related activity.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the perimeter, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Have at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
