Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments for individuals, adolescents, couples, and families, ensuring a thorough understanding of their situations and needs.

• Develop and implement therapeutic interventions tailored to the unique characteristics of each client, with an emphasis on evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).

• Facilitate regular communication with team members regarding client progress, treatment plans, and any interdisciplinary approaches necessary for holistic patient support.

• Manage and document all patient care activities, ensuring compliance with ethical and professional standards for timely and quality documentation.

• Provide case management services by collaborating with other healthcare professionals and community resources to forge effective support networks for patients.

• Lead patient engagement through psychoeducation and active participation strategies that foster deeper understanding and commitment to the therapeutic process.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The clients you will serve include a diverse range of individuals and families seeking assistance with various mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges. Your role is pivotal in guiding them through identifying their goals and making meaningful progress in an outpatient counseling setting. You'll work closely with a broad spectrum of age groups, ensuring that all interventions are appropriate and effective for each client segment.

Qualifications\n

• Active licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the State of New Jersey.

• A Bachelor's degree in a related field is required; advanced clinical degrees preferred.

• A minimum of 2 years of direct clinical experience providing mental health counseling services.

Compensation and Benefits\n
