Work Environment\n

This position is entirely remote, allowing you the flexibility to conduct therapy sessions via telehealth platforms. Our team operates from a virtual setting that encourages collaboration and includes access to the latest digital tools necessary for maintaining comprehensive and effective patient care. With a Monday to Friday work schedule from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, we strive to ensure a healthy work-life balance while reserving occasional flexibility for patient appointments as needed.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to evaluate patients' specific needs, taking into account psychological, social, and medical factors.

• Develop tailored treatment plans utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and solution-focused approaches, aimed at achieving measurable outcomes.

• Provide individual, couples, and family therapy sessions that address a range of mental health issues, adjusting methodologies as necessary based on client feedback and therapeutic progress.

• Lead psychoeducational workshops and support groups that provide patients with tools and community connections addressing common mental health challenges.

• Collaborate extensively with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate and improve patient care processes.

• Respond to crisis situations with effective intervention strategies, ensuring the safety and support of clients during emergencies.

• Educate patients regarding their mental health conditions, treatment options, and resources available in the community to empower them in their recovery journey.

• Maintain precise and secure documentation of patient interactions in compliance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards.

• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing professional development opportunities to keep skills current and relevant.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Active and valid LPCC licensure in the state of California.

• Demonstrated experience in conducting mental health assessments and developing effective treatment plans based on individual patient needs.
