Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and screenings to identify the mental health needs of patients effectively and create individualized treatment plans to address those needs.

• Provide evidence-based short-term individual counseling and crisis intervention to patients facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, and trauma, ensuring timely support and effective strategies for coping.

• Facilitate virtual therapy groups and workshops focused on topics such as stress management, emotional regulation, and personal growth, fostering community and connection among participants.

• Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams, including primary care physicians and external support services, to offer holistic care and ensure that each patient receives comprehensive support tailored to their specific circumstances.

• Participate in community outreach initiatives, including mental health awareness campaigns and workshops, to promote wellness and educate the public about mental health issues and resources.

• Maintain detailed, confidential client records that comply with ethical and legal standards while using electronic health record (EHR) systems to track progress and treatment outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Telehealth Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will serve a wide variety of clients, including individuals struggling with stress, emotional challenges, relationship difficulties, and mental health disorders. Our clientele is primarily composed of diverse community members in Chula Vista and surrounding areas, reflecting a range of backgrounds and experiences.

Qualifications\n

• Active California state licensure as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or holding a Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

• A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Psychology, Social Work, or Counseling is required, with an advanced degree strongly preferred.
