Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to accurately identify clients' mental health needs, developing individualized treatment plans tailored to each client’s unique circumstances.

• Deliver a variety of evidence-based therapeutic services to individuals, groups, and families, employing methodologies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness-based approaches.

• Engage in regular collaboration with case managers, psychiatrists, and other health professionals to create coherent, effective treatment plans and ensure seamless client continuity of care.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention support as needed to clients experiencing acute emotional distress or emergencies, using your training and compassion to stabilize situations effectively.

• Participate in community outreach programs and educational initiatives aimed at increasing mental health awareness and reducing stigma associated with seeking help.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily focus on serving children and families involved in the foster care system, along with other community members facing a spectrum of mental health challenges. You will uniquely engage with diverse client backgrounds, enhancing your cultural competence and ability to tailor therapeutic practices accordingly. This role is essential in helping clients navigate their mental health journeys in a way that is respectful and mindful of their personal histories and identities.

Qualifications\n

• An independent and active license as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

• A master's degree or higher in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology.

• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to establish rapport and therapeutic relationships with clients from a variety of backgrounds.

• Demonstrated cultural competence, with sensitivity to and understanding of various ethnic, cultural, and socioeconomic contexts.

• Strong organizational and time management skills, ensuring effective documentation and adherence to regulatory standards.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of $70,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with your experience and credentials.
