Pay & Benefits

• Hourly Pay Rate: $17.16/hr

What You'll Do

• Provide urgent care services including laceration repair, I&D, foreign body removal, burn management, splinting, and joint reduction
• Administer point-of-care testing such as rapid strep, flu, COVID-19, and blood glucose
• Support patient stabilization and airway management
• Document patient care efficiently in Epic EMR system
• Collaborate with healthcare team to deliver high-quality outpatient care
• Manage a patient volume of approximately 25-50 patients per day, depending on location and season

What You Need

Required:

• Active Virginia Physician Assistant license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Proven experience in urgent or emergency care settings
• Strong suturing, incision and drainage, and point-of-care testing skills

Preferred:

• Experience with orthopedic stabilization, splinting, and X-ray interpretation
• Ability to handle higher acuity cases and manage episodic events
