Systems Analyst

Core System Support Specialist
Provides first level support to assist internal staff on problem determination and issues resolution. Monitors and corrects OpCon job failures. Works with 3rd party vendors on issues resolution. Acts as contact for any system problems that occur during processing or that are reported by users. Analyzes, documents problems and recommends solutions to initiate corrective action.
Maintains, troubleshoots and configures the Core system. Acts as an administrator to maintain access to Symitar for users, computers and servers. Manages Symitar production, backup and development environments. Works with the EASE team on Symitar release upgrades, service packs, data purges and other downtime events for Core system.
Maintains, troubleshoots and configures all ancillary systems which includes but is not limited to Banno, MeridianLink, OpCon, OnBase, IMM, Enterprise Workflow, and Synapsys for maintenance, software upgrades, reporting, development and testing. Work with various business units to test new system enhancements. Track and resolve errors and collect feedback to share with application owner, when appropriate.
Assist Core Systems Analyst II in planning, design and drafting of business requirements. Assists in the development of reports and automation through use of Symitar PowerOn, batch scripts, shell scripts, and any other appropriate programming languages. Maintains coding best practices and conducts code reviews.
Documents procedures and resource documentation and records system changes for troubleshooting and auditing. Develop software documentation in an effort to provide clear understanding of the purpose and operational procedures of the program
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Two years of closely related experience.
- Task/job scheduling software such as SMAs OpCon.
- Document management software such as Hyland's OnBase.
- Beginning to intermediate knowledge of Symitars Episys system, PowerOn, Quest software, SQL and other query languages desired.
- Experience in a Symitar EASE environment desired.
- Experience with HTML, CSS and JavaScript a plus.
- Experience with source control, unit and integration testing a plus.
- Basic understanding of the full software development lifecycle.
