Job Description
Nursing Assistant - Patient Care

Schedule:
Full-Time, 3x12 shifts, day and/or night shifts scheduled as needed. Every other weekend and holidays required.

Requirements:
- BLS certification required (through AHA or RQI only).
- Minimum of high school graduate or equivalent education.
- Post-secondary education in health or human services preferred.
- 1-2 years of customer service or health-related experience required.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Perform various patient care activities and related non-professional services to address the personal needs and comfort of patients.
- Conduct vital signs and assist with activities of daily living as outlined in the care plan.
- Assist with patient nutrition needs, including meal delivery and feeding assistance.
- Maintain patient comfort and safety, including turning and positioning patients.
- Document care rendered per guidelines and report changes in patient status to the nurse promptly.
- Support rehabilitation needs per the care plan, including mobility assistance and the use of assistive devices.
