Travel Registered Nurse Outpatient Job

Overview Registered Nurse – Outpatient in Saint Helena, California. Start date: 08/24/2026. This travel, temporary assignment runs for 13 weeks with guaranteed 40 hours per week. Shift: 3x12-hour days. Setting: Short Term Acute Care Hospital. Weekly pay range: $1,849–$1,908 per week. This position is a travel nursing assignment through Healthforce Healthcare LLC. Responsibilities

• Deliver coordinated nursing care for an outpatient surgical and endoscopy patient population following established standards of care and the nursing process.
• Collect relevant data, analyze assessments, and develop and implement care plans to achieve defined outcomes.
• Monitor patient status, administer medications, and support moderate sedation as applicable; work within pre-op and PACU Phase II workflows.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team (physicians, anesthesia, other nursing staff) to ensure safe, efficient patient turnover and clear discharge planning.
• Supervise and direct activities of assigned nursing staff; delegate appropriately and coordinate duties across the healthcare team.
• Provide patient and family education, and contribute to a healing and safe environment throughout the perioperative journey.

Requirements

• Licenses: Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice (California) required.
• Certifications: Current CPR/BLS required; ACLS and PALS per AHA/ARC guidelines required.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of recent RN experience in acute care or outpatient settings.
• Education: BSN preferred.
• Specialty experience: Endoscopy experience required; outpatient surgery/perioperative experience strongly preferred; comfortable with pre-op and PACU Phase II workflows; experience with moderate sedation is a plus.
• Additional: Eligible to work in the listed setting and comply with vaccination policies as applicable.
