Description

• Conduct thorough evaluations for patients across all age groups using both standardized tools and observational methods.
• Design tailored treatment plans that cater to immediate and future communication, cognitive, or swallowing goals.
• Deliver focused speech therapy sessions to address communication, language development, fluency, voice modulation, and swallowing issues.
• Engage and collaborate with a diverse team of healthcare professionals to ensure an integrated approach to patient care.
• Educate patients and their families to enhance progress outside the therapy sessions.
• Participate in inpatient evaluations and provide necessary therapy interventions, ensuring thorough continuity of care.
• Keep accurate records and documentation compliant with regulatory standards.
• Pursue ongoing professional development to stay updated with the latest industry advancements.

Education

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a recognized institution.
• Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not yet certified by ASHA.

Certifications

• State licensure as a Speech Pathologist .
• Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment.
