Description

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations across pediatric, adult, and geriatric demographics employing standardized assessments and observational methodologies.
• Craft individualized treatment plans aligned with both short-term objectives and long-term goals regarding communication, cognition, or swallowing capabilities.
• Deliver focused, one-on-one speech therapy interventions targeting language, fluency, voice, and swallowing skills.
• Engage in th collaboration with physical therapists, occupational therapists, medical staff, family members, and caregivers to formulate comprehensive care approaches.
• Facilitate education for patients and families to ensure ongoing progress even outside clinical settings.
• Partake in occasional inpatient speech therapy tasks to guarantee a seamless continuum of care throughout the recovery journey.
• Keep thorough and timely documentation in adherence to state regulations, federal standards, and organizational policies.
• Enhance your expertise through continuous education and community collaboration.

Education

• Possession of a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Successful completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) for candidates not yet ASHA-certified.

Certifications

• State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
• ASHA's Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification needed within 30 days of commencement.
