Key Experience and Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification required
• Previous experience as a Special Education teacher, preferably in a middle school setting
• Ability to effectively push into general education classrooms as a resource teacher
• Strong collaboration skills, with readiness to co-teach in at least two academic subject areas
• Proven capability managing a caseload of 15-20 students with diverse learning needs
• Familiarity with IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and indirect academic support to students within general education settings
• Co-teach alongside content-area educators, sharing instructional responsibilities in at least two subjects
• Deliver individualized interventions and accommodations as outlined in student IEPs
• Track student growth, maintain documentation, and communicate regularly with teachers and families
• Advocate for students and foster an inclusive, supportive learning environment
• Engage in school team meetings and collaborate with staff on best practices
